INTERFAITH HARMONY MONTH

Building Bridges in a Divided World

MeckMIN invites faith communities across Mecklenburg County to participate in Interfaith Harmony Month: Buidling Bridges in a Divided World this February 2026 by hosting events that foster understanding, connection, and collaboration.

The goal is to create a series of events across the month that promote the values of interfaith bridgebuilding by providing wonderfully diverse opportunities for our communities to get to know one another in engaging ways.

We encourage people/groups to host their own in person or virtual faith/interfaith events

and open their doors to the wider interfaith community.

Step 1

Plan an event that highlights your faith or some aspect of it in a way that will be welcoming to visitors and/or that celebrates connections and collaborations between faiths.

This could be an event you already have planned or an event you plan especially for this project.

Step 2

Welcome anyone who would like to participate in your event or service, and refrain from recruiting or proselytizing visitors.

Step 3

Add the following to your printed material:

"In observance of Interfaith Harmony Month in collaboration with MeckMIN".
