About the Event

MeckMIN is VERY HAPPY to invite you to our first in-person Food for Thought event since February of 2019!

On TUESDAY, August 16, we'll gather to hear from the amazing James Ford, an award-winning educator and consultant on issues of equity in education discuss "A New Precedent of Faith in Unprecedented Times". This will be a great "back-to-school" event as we embrace the role people of faith have to make our schools work for all students and to work for a more equitable society.

James is the Principal at Filling the Gap Educational Consultants, LLC. and was appointed by Gov. Cooper to serve as a North Carolina State Board of Education member, representing the Southwest Region. He is the former Program Director at the Public School Forum of North Carolina, an education think-tank and policy advocacy organization."

The pandemic has led to lots of changes, at Covenant and beyond, so PLEASE read carefully so you'll know what to expect.
