About the Event

Help Rev. LeDayne McLeese Polaski, Rabbi Asher Knight, and MeckMIN's Board of Directors enhance their ability to serve Houses of Faith and the wider community. To accomplish this, they believe it is crucial to listen to their clergy-colleague's unique needs, hear the voices of Mecklenburg's faith leaders and the various constituents they collectively serve.

They understand that each House of Faith faces different challenges, opportunities, and aspirations. By actively engaging and gaining a deeper understanding of their experiences, they can identify the trends, concerns, and potential impacts that influence our collective work.

To facilitate this important conversation, we are offering three listening sessions, and we kindly request your presence at one of them:

  1. Wednesday, June 28, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at a restaurant (venue to be determined).
  2. Tuesday, July 11, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Temple Beth El, where heavy snacks will be provided.
  3. Thursday, July 13, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Park Road Baptist Church with lunch provided

Through this strategic planning process, MeckMIN strives to achieve several outcomes. This includes gaining a better understanding of the environment we are facing in our Houses of Faith and its potential impact on Charlotte.
