Souls of Our Students is not only impacting the Charlotte region but it has been ordered by congregations, businesses and schools from Arizona, Illinois and New York to Kansas, Virginia and California.

A few words from Dr. Peter Gorman on Souls of Our Students

Souls of Our Students is a collaborative project of Mecklenburg Ministries, Charlotte Coalition for Social Justice, Temple Beth El and Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. The Souls of Our Students project was made possible through the generous support of Foundation for the Carolinas and was "seeded" by the funders of the original Souls of White Folks, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundations. Mecklenburg Ministries appreciates the incredible work of Professional Communications who produced the documentary film, which won a national 2008 Telly Award that honors the most outstanding video projects crated by film and TV professionals in the past year.
