What is the Role and Position of the Media? Print

When reporting on matters involving race, ethnicity, discrimination or difference, how does the
media assure balance and fairness in the reporting?

What steps, if any, are taken to prevent Inflaming the situation being reported?

Is race or ethnicity ever a factor in the way news is reported? If so, who makes that decision and why?


These and other questions will be discussed by our panelists at Mecklenburg Ministries' Community Conversation this coming Wednesday, June 18 at Covenant Presbyterian Church.
